I get to hold my baby this month
Sorry for the lack of posts the last few days.
I'm sure I wrote about my last growth scan in my last post, so won't write about it again.
This week has dragged. I think it's just because I'm worried about what my growth scan tomorrow will show.
Nothing really happened during the week. It never really does to be honest. It's always the same old same old.
I almost made it a week without going back to the hospital. Almost.
Last night I ended up going back in. Again because of reduced movements. They were quite busy there last night. Triage was full, so they ended up using the induction ward.
I was on the CTG machine for a good half hour 40 minutes before baby started to move again. I'm still having irregular tightenings as they called them. Some of them actually felt more like contractions.
Baby is now 3/5 engaged. He'll more then likely pop back out though.
The midwife wrote on my note change of care plan. slightly concerning, She told me that next time I don't feel him move for a while, I have to monitor his movements for an hour, if nothing try everything to get him moving for another hour, if after that I have less then 4 movements in that hour to call up and go in to get baby checked.
I think they are finally getting concerned about all his lack of movements.
I am just glad I have my growth scan tomorrow. Hopefully get to find out what they have planned for me and baby.
Tomorrow is also the same stage of pregnancy I had my first. 36+4.
I don't think it will mean much to be honest, in the sense it has no relation to how my growth scan will go.
At the scan last weeks baby was estimated to be weighing 4lb 13oz. At this stage of pregnancy they should be gaining about half a pound a week, So really tomorrow if he is growing the way he should, we should be looking at almost 5 and a half pounds.
